fossil hills was a delightful surprise. set in a secluded spot, the cottage offered breathtaking mountain views and a diverse vegetation. the stargazing was spectacular. everything was thoughtfully provided, including a hot tub that was the icing on the cake. ina, the host, was helpful and friendly.

Insulation was poor and we froze.

I did find that the inside fireplace needed some work as it caused some smoke and made it uncomfortable to enjoy. Additionally, the cabin I stayed in was very cold, even with the available heaters.

We had a great experience during our New Year's getaway. The location was beautiful and peaceful, away from the city. We enjoyed the kolKol hot tubs, which were a great treat. The accommodation had air conditioning and lovely electric blankets, perfect for the chilly nights. Additionally, the hostess was wonderful and even brought us some naartjies, which was a lovely touch.

One thing we disliked was being placed in a cottage where we could constantly hear the highway. It took away from the peaceful weekend we were hoping for, especially since it was our honeymoon.
